The Check-Out Presenter in Auction Flex allows you to display a summary of a bidder’s purchases and hammer prices on a second monitor during checkout. This helps bidders visually confirm their purchases and improves transparency at the payment station.
What You’ll Need
A second monitor connected to your computer
Extended Desktop enabled in your Windows Display Settings
How to Enable Extended Desktop
Before using the presenter:
Right-click on your desktop and choose Display Settings
Scroll to the Multiple Displays section
Set your second monitor to Extend these displays
Position the monitors in the layout that reflects your real setup (left/right)
Click Apply
How to Launch the Check-Out Presenter
Once your extended desktop is set up:
Go to Auction Check-Out
Click the Check-Out Presenter button (lower-left corner of the screen)
This opens the presenter window on the second monitor.
What the Bidder Will See
The Check-Out Presenter displays:
A list of lots purchased
Hammer prices for each item
Buyer information (if configured)
Totals owed
This allows the cashier to complete payment on the main screen while the bidder views their invoice summary.
Best Practices
Do not mirror displays — the presenter should run on a dedicated extended screen
Position the second monitor where the bidder can easily see it
Use the presenter during high-volume auctions to improve checkout speed and reduce disputes
