Customize the messages bidders receive when they are approved or declined for an auction.

Where to Configure

Go to:
MyHiBid > Account Dropdown > Company Settings


Email Types & Defaults

Approval – Single Auction

  • Subject: Bidder Approval

  • Body: Bidder Approval

Approval – All Auctions

  • Subject: Bidder Approval

  • Body: You have been approved to bid at our auction. You can now visit our website and place absentee bids. Thank you for registering.

Decline – Single Auction

  • Subject: Bidder Not Approved

  • Body: Bidder Not Approved.

Decline – All Auctions

  • Subject: Bidder Not Approved

  • Body: Your request to leave bids at our auction has been declined. You have been permanently disallowed to leave bids. Thank you for your interest.


Tips

  • Use the "All Auctions" versions for bidders you intend to approve or decline across all future events.

  • Edit the default subject lines or body content to match your tone and policy.

  • Approval emails are triggered when a pending bidder is marked as approved within MyHiBid.
