Customize how messages and labels appear throughout your HiBid auction catalog and bidder interfaces.

Where to Configure

Navigate to:
MyHiBid > Account Dropdown > Company Settings


Key Settings & Descriptions

Message When No Upcoming Auctions

Description: Display a custom message if no auctions are currently posted.
Use Case: Maintain buyer engagement by adding context or promoting future sales.
Default: “Please check back soon as upcoming auction information is posted regularly.”


Message When Price Realized Not Uploaded

Description: Placeholder message shown in lot results when final prices aren’t yet posted.
Default: “Price Realized Not Uploaded”


Hide Pre-Sale Estimates

Description: Optionally hide presale estimates from public view.
Use Case: Typically hidden in general personal property auctions; used more often in high-end auctions.
Default: No


Hide Lead in Description

Description: Rarely used. Only applicable when migrating customers from defunct competitors.
Recommendation: Leave set to “No”


Message After Bidding Closes

Description: Customize the message shown when an auction has ended.
Use Case: Clarify that auction results are pending or that lots were subject to reserve.
Default: “Internet Bidding Has Closed”


Caption on Registration Screen

Description: Optional message to show under the bidder registration form.
Example: “Please contact the auction house for approval for any real estate auctions.”
Default: “YOUR NOTES TO THE AUCTIONEER”


No Minimum Bid Caption

Description: Label shown for lots with no starting bid.
Default: “No Minimum”


Auto-Fill Bid Form with Minimum Bid

Description: Automatically populates the minimum bid value on the bid form.
Recommendation: Leave enabled to prevent guesswork.
Default: Yes


Label for Uploaded Absentee Lead Bidder

Description: Sets the label used for manually entered floor bidders.
Default: “Floor Bidder”


Time Zone Offset

Description: Controls local time display based on HiBid servers (Eastern Standard Time).
Default: 0
