Where to Configure

Go to:
MyHiBid > Account Dropdown > Company Settings


Key Settings

“May Have Won” Status Message

  • Purpose: Message shown when a bidder may have won an item, but it hasn’t been confirmed due to reserve or approval requirements.

  • Default: May Have Won

  • Tip: You can customize this to include more context, such as:
    “Some items may have been subject to reserve or seller approval. If you did not receive an invoice, you were not the winner. Please contact us with any questions.”


Bid Increment Disclaimer

  • Purpose: Explains increment rules if the auction allows bids that don't exactly match the increment schedule.

  • Default: Your bid must adhere to the bid increment schedule


Bid History Disclaimer

  • Purpose: Clarifies how tie bids are handled.

  • Default: In the case of a tie bid, precedence is given to the earliest bid.
