Free Up Cloud Storage

How to free up space in the cloud by removing old data

Updated over a month ago

To help manage your cloud storage more effectively, you can safely delete certain types of files. Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure no critical system files are removed.

Safe to Delete

1. Backups

  • Folder: F:\Shared\auctionflex\Backup

  • What to Delete: You may delete old backup files stored inside the backup folder.

  • Important: Do not delete the actual backup folder β€” only remove the outdated backup files it contains.

2. Images

  • Folder: F:\Shared\auctionflex\Images

  • What to Delete: Older image files that are no longer needed, especially those from past years. Image folders are labeled based on the week and year the images were added into the program. For example an image added January 1st 2025 would be labeled in a folder 2025-1.

  • How to Delete Safely:

    • Open the Images folder.

    • Delete any unnecessary folders or images

    • Delete in small batches β€” only 2–3 files or folders at a time.

Important Guidelines

  • Never delete files from the Data folder.
This folder contains critical system files required for Auction Flex to function properly.

  • Work in small batches when deleting image files.
Large deletions can slow down the server and affect other users.

  • Be patient.
Image deletions may take time to process, especially in the cloud environment.
