Creating a Manifest
Manifests are a list of lots created in AFX for a specific auction and can contain any number of auction lots from multiple consignors.
Once you are logged in to the Workspace, the opening page will show you all of your current manifests.
To create a new manifest, click New Manifest.
The New Manifest popup will appear; type the name of the new manifest in the Manifest Title text box and click Create.
The new manifest is now created.
Lot Workspace
With the manifest created, it now needs to be populated with lots. The best way to do this is with the Lot Workspace; to access the workspace, click the Workspace icon. This is the second most right icon on the manifest line.
The Workspace is your toolbelt for onboarding lots through the media gallery, scan, and fast-entry, making it easier than ever to input your lots in whichever way works best for you.
In the upper right corner you’ll see the five “modes” for the Lot Workspace:
Import: Allows you to import manifests of lots from csv/Excel, image, or Zip files. Learn more here:
Scan Mode: Scan mode lets you use your webcam or other attached camera to scan any UPC or other manufactured barcodes for easy entry, pulling the specifications directly from the manufacturer. Learn more here:
Fast Entry: Fast entry consolidates everything you need in one tight page, best for when you have a large number of lots to rapidly add to your inventory. Learn more here:
Media Gallery: The “default” tool for the workspace, the media gallery is the control center for cataloging by image; load up your media assets, click and drag them where they need to go, and let our AI do the heavy lifting for you. Learn more here:
Sale Manager: The sale manager is used to prepare your lots for auction, setting the order in which they appear, the stagger between lots, and more. Learn more here:
Lot List
The Lot List is used for quick and basic editing of lot details by removing the middle tool column, leaving you with only the Lot List and Details Columns. To access it, click the List button in the Manifests menu.
