New Lot Workflow
Step 1: Begin a New Lot
From the left navigation, go to Lots → New Lot. Complete Steps 1–3 of the wizard (Lot #, Source Code, and Inventory Type) as usual.
Step 2: Navigate to Step 4 – Lot Info
On Step 4 (Lot Info), you will see the new Shipping checkbox field. The value is pre-populated based on the Inventory Type selected in Step 3.
Step 3: Review or Override the Shipping Value
Review the Shipping checkbox:
If the Inventory Type defaults shipping to enabled, the checkbox will be checked.
If the Inventory Type defaults shipping to disabled (e.g., Firearm), the checkbox will be unchecked.
You can manually check or uncheck the box to override the default for this specific lot, regardless of the Inventory Type.
Step 4: Complete and Save
Fill in any remaining Lot Info fields and click Save. The lot is created with your Shipping selection applied. Proceed to Step 5 (Images) if needed.
Fast Lot Entry
Step 1: Navigate to Fast Lot
From the left navigation, go to Lots → Fast Lot.
Step 2: Select an Inventory Type
Use the new Inv Type dropdown to select the Inventory Type for the lot. This is a new field added in v10.1.0 to support Shipping defaulting behavior.
Once selected, the Shipping checkbox will automatically update to reflect the default for that Inventory Type.
Step 3: Review or Override the Shipping Value
Review the Shipping checkbox:
If the selected Inventory Type defaults shipping to enabled, the checkbox will be checked.
If the selected Inventory Type defaults shipping to disabled (e.g., Firearm), the checkbox will be unchecked.
You can manually check or uncheck the box to override the default for this lot.
Step 4: Save the Lot
Fill in the Description, Quantity, and any other fields, then click Save & Next. The lot is saved with your Shipping selection applied.
Sync to AuctionFlex Desktop
Once a lot is saved in either workflow, the Shipping selection will be reflected in AuctionFlex Desktop under the lot's record — consistent with how Shipping is managed in the desktop application.
Notes
The Shipping default is controlled by the Inventory Type configuration in AuctionFlex. If a type does not have a default set, the checkbox will default to unchecked.
Overriding the Shipping value on a per-lot basis does not change the Inventory Type's default — it only affects the individual lot.
This feature is available in Auction Flex Mobile v1.1.2.0 and later.
